Sterling Premium Select on Johnston St. in Lafayette, LA is hiring motivated individuals to join a family-owned dealership group. The role involves safely transporting vehicles between Sterling Automotive Group locations, delivering vehicles, and performing basic detailing and upkeep in outdoor conditions.

Candidates should have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug screen. The position is full-time, with potential Saturdays, and offers a stable work environment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age OR have 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Prior driving or automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Strong safety focus and ability to operate vehicles responsibly.
• Coachable with strong communication and teamwork.
• Independent work with reliable and punctual performance.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport vehicles between Sterling dealership locations.
• Pick up and deliver vehicles to support dealership operations.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures while operating vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for obvious issues before and after transportation and report concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transfers as needed.
• Assist with washing, drying, and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors.
• Vacuum interiors and clean upholstery, carpets, and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, showroom, and vehicle lots.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Safely transport vehicles between Sterling Automotive Group dealership locations
• Pick up and deliver vehicles as needed to support dealership operations

• Inspect vehicles for obvious issues before and after transportation and report any concerns
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle pickups, deliveries, and transfers as needed

• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen

Schedule:

Full-time, may require some Saturdays
