This hands-on, full-time role involves maintaining dealership grounds, performing light repairs, and completing preventative maintenance tasks. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain dealership grounds including mowing and landscaping.
• Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Complete routine preventative maintenance across locations.
• Replace air filters, light bulbs, and handle minor facility repairs and light paint jobs.
• Support seasonal and exterior upkeep (storm cleanup, pressure washing, etc.).
• Travel between dealership locations as needed using company vehicle.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and up to company standards.

Sterling Automotive Group is hiring a General Maintenance Technician to help keep our dealerships running safely, efficiently, and looking their best.

This is a hands-on, multi-location role supporting our stores in Lafayette, Broussard, Maurice, Opelousas, and Jennings. If you like staying busy, working outdoors, and fixing things the right way, this is a great fit.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain dealership grounds including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping
• Perform light plumbing and electrical repairs such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, outlets, and lighting
• Complete routine preventative maintenance across multiple locations
• Replace air filters, light bulbs, and handle minor facility repairs and light paint jobs
• Support seasonal and exterior upkeep (storm cleanup, pressure washing, etc.)
• Travel between dealership locations as needed using company vehicle
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and up to company standards
