Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Automotive Systems Engineer in Troy, MI. You will be the primary technical contact for customers, leading discussions, clarifying requirements, and supporting issue resolution across display systems.

You will work on on-site vehicle and bench testing, analyze logs, and coordinate with internal teams to drive robust solutions while maintaining high-quality communication with customers and program teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with automotive infotainment and display systems.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into internal specs.
• Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical contact for automotive customers and support issue resolution.
• Lead system-level discussions, define specs, and communicate needs to internal teams.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate into clear internal specifications.
• Perform on-vehicle and bench testing, data collection, and troubleshooting.
• Drive containment actions and root-cause analysis for display issues.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for customers and stakeholders.
