Job Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day activities of the Processing Department following all applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, under the direction of the Production Manager.
• Assist Dismantler/Trainer with dismantling vehicles.
• Learn and execute the dismantling, tagging, and storing of all parts.
• Collaborate with Engine Dismantlers to learn engine dismantling.
• Ensure safety standards and requirements are met to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

• Background in body repair, mechanical work, or previous dismantling experience.
• May need to have own tools to perform duties.

Preferred Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate orally and write brief messages.
• Routine problem-solving following clear instructions and procedures.
• Adherence to standard procedures without decision-making responsibility.
• Follow guidance and priorities provided by supervisors.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods.
• Work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles, possibly in awkward positions.
• Wear PPE as required.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures and high noise levels.
• Periodic travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
