Job summary

Caliberr Staffing seeks a Dimensional Engineer specializing in automotive interiors in a hybrid, open-ended contract. You will manage GD&T, tolerance modeling, and coordinate measurements across door trims, consoles, headliners, and instrument panels.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in a related field or equivalent experience, with strong CAD/tooling experience and a track record of reducing fit issues in mass production. Background screening is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced GD&T knowledge and interpretation essential.
• Experience with 3D inspection tools and CAD platforms.
• Background in soft-trim manufacturing, forming, or injection molding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform tolerance modeling for sub-assemblies and molded components.
• Ensure flush/gap tolerances and proper alignment to reduce squeaks.
• Evaluate CMM data and laser scanner scans for quality control.
• Collaborate with toolmakers to adjust jigs and molds.
