Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Power Stroke and Ford diesels, including fuel, emissions, and turbo systems.
• Run advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics using Ford tools.
• Perform warranty, recall and customer-pay repairs to Ford/dealer standards.
• Document diagnostics and repairs accurately on first attempt.
• Mentor apprentices and mid-level techs on diesel work.
• Keep bays and shop areas safe, clean and organized.

CMA's Williamsburg Ford runs a high-volume Ford service department with steady diesel work, a fully air-conditioned shop, and leadership that came up through the service drive.

We're hiring an experienced Diesel Technician to handle advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on Super Duty and Power Stroke platforms — and to help bring along the technicians coming up behind you.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair 6.7L Power Stroke and other Ford diesel powertrains, including fuel, emissions, aftertreatment and turbo systems
• Run advanced electrical and drivability diagnostics using Ford IDS and FDRS
• Perform warranty, recall and customer-pay repairs to Ford and dealership standards
• Document diagnostics and repairs accurately the first time through
• Mentor apprentice and mid-level technicians on diesel work
• Keep your bay and shared shop areas safe, clean and organized

What You Bring

• Proven diesel experience in a dealership or heavy-duty independent shop
• Ford diesel certifications strongly preferred — we’ll pay to finish what you’re missing
• Strong diagnostic instincts and a fix-it-right-the-first-time mindset
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Virginia State Inspection License preferred, not required — we’ll get you licensed
