Job summary

Anderson Ford in Anderson, SC is seeking an Experienced Automotive Diesel Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years Ford experience and will perform repairs and diagnostics on diesel engines and systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Diesel Technician experience required.
• A-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including diesel engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed.
• Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities
