Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Sterling, VA is seeking an experienced Automotive Diesel Mechanic to join our Dulles-area fleet service team. If you're skilled with diesel and gas trucks, this full-time role offers a stable, high-paying opportunity with full benefits.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 4am–12:30pm. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered vehicles, perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections, and keep precise service records.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years' experience as a diesel or fleet mechanic.
• GED or High School Diploma
• Valid driver's license and own tool
• Must pass background check
• Strong accountability and customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel and gas-powered trucks, vans, and medium/heavy duty vehicles (Isuzu trucks, Chevy van, Sprinters)
• Preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
• Perform test drives and make system adjustments as needed
• Maintain accurate service records and manage shop equipment
• Conduct field repairs in various weather conditions
