Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers in Normal, IL is seeking skilled Technicians for full- or part-time positions. Earn $25.00–$40.00 per hour in a flat-rate, performance-based pay structure that rewards experience and efficiency.

You will perform basic diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to manufacturer specs, complete Monro's courtesy inspections, and contribute to a safe, guest-ready store environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.
• Must possess a current valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory MVR.
• Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s courtesy inspection process on every guest vehicle and document needed services.
• Assist in inventory management, including pulling tires and stocking parts.
• Assist with store duties to keep the location clean and guest-ready.
• Adhere to safety standards including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy using designated test routes.
• Follow company policies and governmental standards, including OSHA and environmental rules.
• Maintain knowledge through Monro University training modules.
