Job summary

Percepta in Melbourne, Florida is seeking a Diagnostics Support Representative to deliver level 1 technical support for automotive diagnostic tools and software. You will troubleshoot basic setup, software and hardware issues, and assist customers via calls, email, or other channels.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of technical support experience, with solid problem-solving and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical support and troubleshooting experience and/or a degree in IT/IS or diploma in Automotive Technology
• High School Diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 technical support for diagnostic tools and software via calls, email or other methods.
• Troubleshoot basic system setup, software/hardware issues, including firewall/anti-spyware conflicts.
• Provide remote PC control (Webex, LogMeIn) to diagnose and resolve issues as needed.
• Coordinate with Ford contacts for warranty claims and escalation to appropriate teams.
• Generate monthly reports detailing call metrics and trends.
