Qualifications

• Prior automotive technician experience is preferred.
• Certifications and technical trainings are required.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Strong analytical skills for complex issues.
• Able to lift heavy parts and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections.
• Test drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools per manufacturer standards.
• Maintain detailed records of work, parts, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with service advisors and technicians for efficient workflow.
• Explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers when appropriate.
