Job summary

CarMax West Point is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and quality standards. You’ll work with a skilled team in a climate-controlled facility and gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign models.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced shop. ASE certifications in steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC are expected, and a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
• ASE Certifications listed for required areas where applicable.
