Job summary

Sixt Rent a Car is seeking a full-time Detail Specialist to join our Indianapolis team. The role focuses on cleaning and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors, inspecting for damage, and ensuring every rental meets high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, ability to work independently or with a team, strong communication and customer service skills, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting) for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring every vehicle meets high-quality standards.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and exteriors (washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, sanitizing).
• Inspect vehicles for damage or maintenance needs and report findings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area.
• Track detailing supplies and report inventory needs.
• Work with team members to ensure efficient turnaround of rental vehicles.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
