Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the Automotive Detail Manager is to manage detail shop operations and customer relations.

Compensation

Salary plus commission! Benefits include Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, and PTO.

Responsibilities

1. Manage activities of the Detail Shop to ensure vehicles are detailed to standards and work is completed timely and according to quality and customer requirements.
2. Oversee administrative functions to maximize service utilization.
3. Maintain high levels of customer service and understand customer-specific requirements.
4. Manage, motivate, and train the Detail Shop team, including employee scheduling and workflow management.
5. Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies; oversee maintenance and shop equipment protection.
6. Ensure a safe work environment by training, monitoring, and enforcing safety procedures.
7. Counsel and discipline employees as necessary.
8. Lead the team by setting an example, embodying OnSite Dealer Solutions values, and ensuring respectful treatment of all employees.
9. Enforce company policies related to employee and customer conduct.
10. Keep work areas neat and clean.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
2. Valid driver’s license.
3. At least 1 year of automotive detail experience.
4. At least 1 year of management experience.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with employees, vendors, and customers.
