This role is crucial in managing a high volume of sales operations and enhancing profitability through efficient financial management techniques in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dealership operations and automotive industry standards.
• Experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations and personnel of the accounting department.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and financial statements.
• Forecast financial goals and conduct regular audits to maintain business profitability.
• Review financial statements/ledgers with accounting staff to clear up any discrepancies.
• Meet with department managers to develop plans to increase profitability.
• Ensure timely and compliant filing of local, state, & federal taxes.
