Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a skilled Automotive Validation Engineer with 5–9 years in cockpit, infotainment, and cluster systems validation. You will validate components at vehicle and bench levels, analyze CAN diagnostics, and work with tools like WiTECH, CANoe, and DTS Monaco.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in ECE, EEE, EIE, CSE, or related engineering disciplines.
• Experience: 5-9 years of relevant experience in the Automotive domain with a strong focus on Cockpit, Infotainment, Instrument Cluster, and Connected Vehicle Systems Validation.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in Cockpit Validation at both vehicle and bench levels.
• Strong knowledge of Infotainment feature validation (Radio/Tuner, Media, Bluetooth, Navigation, Connected Apps).
• Strong knowledge of Cluster feature validation (Warning lamps, Gauges, DIC, trip computer, ADAS alerts).
• Experience validating Cluster diagnostics, CAN signals, vehicle alerts, and HMI interactions.
• Proficiency in Proxy Alignment/configuration, Variant Coding, Feature Configuration, and Vehicle ECU Configuration activities.
• Knowledge of automotive diagnostics including ECU flashing, coding, configuration, troubleshooting, and DTC analysis.
• Experience with diagnostic tools (WiTECH, DTS Monaco, CANoe, DDT2000, ODIS, Vector VH650/VH850).
• Familiarity with diagnostics protocols (UDS, KWP2000) and networks (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay).
• Experience with log collection, trace analysis, issue debugging, root cause analysis, and validation tracking.
• Automation scripting and test automation frameworks are a plus.
