Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking an ADAS software integration engineer to support integration and validation across ECUs, sensors, and vehicle variants.

You will analyze CAN, Ethernet, and other networks; use CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, and Wireshark; and collaborate with global teams to resolve defects and drive system readiness. This role requires strong debugging, independent work, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced automotive setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive embedded systems, vehicle electronics, software integration, system validation, or ADAS development.
• Strong understanding of vehicle communication networks including CAN, Ethernet, LIN, and UDS diagnostics.
• Experience using CANoe, CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy, Wireshark, or similar analysis tools.
• Experience with software configuration management, software baselines, and release processes.
• Working knowledge of C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and quickly become productive in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Support software integration, baseline deployment, and validation activities for ADAS and Active Safety systems.
• Integrate and verify software across multiple ECUs, sensors, cameras, and vehicle variants.
• Perform vehicle-level diagnostics, CAN analysis, and log investigations to identify root causes of system issues.
• Support validation of features such as ACC, AEB, LKA, Lane Centering, and other driver assistance functions.
• Investigate sensor, radar, camera, network communication, and software interaction issues affecting ADAS performance.
• Evaluate impact of sensor packaging, mounting locations, calibration requirements, environmental influences, and vehicle architecture on system performance.
• Support software release management, variant management, feature enablement, and software configuration across multiple vehicle platforms.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams to resolve software defects, integration issues, and launch blockers.
• Support issue management through defect tracking systems and provide technical recommendations for corrective actions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, software baseline records, software BOMs, variant documentation, integration guides, and validation reports.
• Support vehicle integration activities throughout development, validation, launch, and continuous improvement phases.
