Job summary

Mubea in Florence, KY is seeking a supervisor to coordinate machine operations, estimate labor hours, and plan material flow to meet production schedules. You will interpret blueprints, assign duties, and drive continuous improvement in production methods and equipment performance.

The role requires CNC experience, a strong mechanical background, and solid reading of gauges. Automotive experience and proficiency with ERP/office software are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have CNC experience and a mechanical background.
• Ability to read and use gauges such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges.
• Automotive experience required.
• Proficient with Lotus Notes, E-Time HR, Access, Excel and Word.
• Proficient in EPS, PLC, AS-400 and Adobe software.
• Experience or training in 5s, Lockout/Tagout and basic plant safety.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules.
• Computes stock and supplies from production schedules and requisitions materials.
• Interprets specifications and blueprints and assigns duties.
• Plans flow of materials and layouts of machines per work orders.
• Inspects and measures parts to verify conformance to specs.
• Trains, evaluates, and reviews new operators.
• Tracks and enters employee schedules and attendance.
• Conducts weekly production meetings with leads and staff.
