Grease Monkey is seeking an Assistant Manager in Greenville, TX to serve as the center’s second-in-command and ensure smooth operation in the manager’s absence. The role emphasizes customer relations, team supervision, and efficient center performance.

You will supervise staff, manage payroll, training, daily reporting, and safety, while driving guest satisfaction and service quality in a fast-paced automotive center.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers immediately in a professional manner and present Grease Monkey services and pricing during the Welcome, Wait/Show and Departure.
• Present air filters and radiator cap for customer inspection where applicable.
• Maintain communications with waiting customers, keep them informed of wait times, and answer questions; ensure a clean, safe atmosphere.
• Review Service Order Ticket at checkout, explain services performed and the purpose of any reminders.
• Remind departing customers to submit feedback about their visit.
• Thank departing customers and encourage their return.
• Resolve customer complaints and damage claims.
• Hire new employees as needed; evaluate performance; resolve complaints; administer discipline; discharge as required.
• Provide training to new employees and conduct routine sessions on products, services, skills and policies.
• Schedule employees for coverage and efficient labor use; ensure accurate time clocks.
• Prepare payroll each pay period and maintain employee files.
• Ensure proper execution of activities in the service bays; print and monitor sales/inventory reports.
• Monitor cash register functions and credit card handling.
