Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Cashier at Oak Lawn Honda. You will handle customer transactions, calculate bills, and process payments, ensuring accuracy and a positive customer experience. The role requires attentiveness and a customer-focused approach.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401k, paid vacation, and training. Flexibility for weekends/holidays is expected, and a background check may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Cashier experience in automotive dealership a plus.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Record totals and verify payments at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to appropriate staff.
• Work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
