Oak Lawn Honda in Oak Lawn, IL, part of the Ed Napleton Automotive Group, is hiring an Automotive Cashier to handle customer transactions, calculate bills, and process payments, ensuring a smooth customer experience.

Requirements include a high school diploma, cashier experience (automotive dealership a plus), ability to read and understand instructions, excellent communication, professional appearance, and willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen; must be 18+.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Cashier experience; automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local laws.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all cash, checks and credit card payments on hand at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible work schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
