Job summary

Napleton Automotive Group seeks an Automotive Cashier to support Oak Lawn Honda, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth customer experience. The ideal candidate is accurate, customer-focused, with cashier or dealership exposure preferred; a high school diploma is required; willingness to pass a background check and drug screen is expected.

Qualifications

• Cashier experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
• Professional appearance and customer-facing demeanor.
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Record totals of counter tickets and repair orders; verify against payments at end of shift.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Be flexible with schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
