Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a C-Level Automotive Technician at Genesis of Carmel in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role performs maintenance per dealer and factory standards, ensuring vehicle safety and reliability while building customer trust in Napleton as a caregiver for their vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Automotive training or experience as lube tech or technician assistant preferred.
• Willingness to undergo background check per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust system.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums/shoes.
• Replace radiators.
• Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain a clean, presentable service center.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech, or technician assistant
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
