Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a C-Level Automotive Technician to perform vehicle maintenance in line with dealer and factory standards. Located at Genesis of Carmel, the role aims to build customer loyalty by ensuring vehicle safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech, or technician assistant.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local laws and regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure proper tire pressure and inflation.
• Perform wheel alignments.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Install a new oil drain plug and oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Clean and replace batteries.
• Replace or repair exhaust system.
• Remove and reinstall brake drums and/or brake shoes.
• Replace radiators.
• Perform manufacturer recalls that do not require diagnostic equipment.
• Maintain a clean and presentable service center.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Automotive technical training or experience as a lube tech, or technician assistant
• Valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving record
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
