Job summary

Experience Champaign Urbana is seeking an Assembly Operator for 1st shift to assemble automotive bumpers and components. Responsibilities include washing bumpers, retrieving materials, installing parts, inspecting quality, and moving parts through the assembly process.

Shift is 7am-3pm with mandatory overtime; positions rotate every 2 hours to promote safety and efficiency. Qualifications include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move bumpers weighing 6.7 to 63.5 pounds.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing to rotate between assembly positions.

Responsibilities

• Wash bumpers on tables, stands, and floor racks.
• Retrieve bumpers and components from racks and transport to stations.
• Assemble bumpers by attaching nuts, brackets, lights, wiring, and plastic components.
• Inspect parts and ensure quality standards.
• Rotate between assembly cells to promote safety and efficiency.
