Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a dependable Assembly Operator for the 1st shift to assemble automotive bumpers and components. You will wash bumpers, retrieve materials, install components, inspect parts, and move items through the assembly process.

Positions rotate to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency on a single shift. The role requires lifting and manual handling, steady attention to detail, and the ability to follow work instructions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining standards.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to rotate between assembly positions.
• Overtime availability as needed.

Responsibilities

• Wash bumpers on tables, stands, and floor racks as required.
• Retrieve bumpers from racks and transport to assembly stations.
• Retrieve attachments and components from racks and shelving (up to 74 inches high).
• Retrieve boxes of small components (nuts and bolts) from shelves (up to 40 pounds).
• Assemble bumpers by attaching nuts, brackets, lights, wiring, and plastics.
• Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements and use fine motor skills.
• Operate a 12-pound nut runner at ~4-foot height and a rubber mallet for attachments.
• Use two-handed manipulators and hoists to place bumpers.
• Lift bumper parts weighing 6.7 to 63.5 pounds as needed.
• Move bumpers between stations as production progresses.
• Push/pull racks of bumpers with up to 25 pounds of force.
• Follow safety, quality, production, and work instructions.
• Meet production standards: target ~500 bumpers per 8-hour shift.
• Rotate between positions roughly every 2 hours.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Additional duties as assigned.
