We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Build Engineer to support virtual vehicle development and build processes remotely. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing build documentation, and ensuring all vehicle systems and components are accurately specified and integrated throughout the build lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage virtual and physical build plans for prototype and production vehicles

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure timely parts readiness and integration

Maintain and track build specifications, part lists (BOMs), and change requests

Troubleshoot build issues and provide engineering solutions in real time

Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and engineering standards across the build process

Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline the build and validation cycle

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Systems Engineering (or related field)

2+ years of experience in automotive product development or vehicle builds

Familiarity with CAD systems, PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter), and BOM management

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage complex schedules and work independently in a remote setting
