Transforming the Future with Convergence of Simulation and Data

Prototype Build Engineer (Troy, MI or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S)

What You Will Do:

• Conducting and leading engineering on all prototype build activities.
• Developing and communicating build plans based on vehicle specifications, test plans, and program timing.
• Providing engineering and mentoring to assure all program deliverables are met.
• Resolving any issues affecting build quality, engineering design, manufacturing process, and timing.
• Conducting engineering and design review on vehicle build process.
• Preparing and presenting project reporting to management.

Basics:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field.
• Must have experience or education in:
  • CAD
  • 3D assembly and manipulation
  • MATLAB and C++

  • CATIA and LABview

    Telecommuting permitted, work may occur anywhere in the U.S. 40 hrs/wk. 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
