Job summary

Carolina's Collision of Charlotte, part of Capital Auto Group, is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The role focuses on inspecting damaged vehicles and producing detailed, transparent repair estimates for customers and insurers.

You will collaborate with insurance adjusters, coordinate with the repair team, and maintain organized records. The ideal candidate has estimating software experience and a solid understanding of auto repair processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to explain repair processes and estimates clearly to customers.
• Experience with automotive repair estimating is preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles, assessing the extent of damage and necessary repairs
• Explain repair processes and estimate details to customers in a clear and comprehensible manner
• Collaborate with adjusters to discuss estimates and negotiate repair costs
• Work closely with the repair team to convey repair requirements and ensure clarity on the scope of work
• Maintain organized and accurate records of estimates, communication with customers, and insurance-related documentation
