Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate's or trade school preferred.
• Prior automotive testing experience preferred.
• Strong electrical knowledge and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment and test setups for clients.
• Build/adapt setup and test equipment for tests.
• Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams and measurement instructions.
• Follow defined test plans and datasheets.
• Evaluate test performance and sample operation.
• Record and report test results.
• Direct staff in test setups.
• Communicate with customers during setup and operation.
• Operate designated machines and laboratory equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic calibration of test equipment.
• Read standards and testing technology with supervision.
• Initiate recommendations for new equipment designs and improvements.
• Report data to engineers and management.
• Communicate with management to improve processes.
