Job summary
AWS/CES is seeking a Journeyman Technician for our automotive manufacturing client in Lansing, MI. You will perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on automated production systems, troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, and support preventive maintenance and safety programs.

Qualifications
- Journeyman Certification required for electrical/industrial trade.
- 3–5 years of maintenance experience in automotive/high-volume manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
- Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot motors, drives, gearboxes, pumps, valves, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Repair and replace machine components while ensuring safe, efficient operation.
- Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
