Job summary

Sodecia Automotive Detroit is hiring an experienced Weld Technician to support welding and stamping operations in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment at Center Line, MI 48015. The role focuses on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure safe, compliant production.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills and a minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, with ability to work any shift and overtime as

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as required.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair robotic welding systems (Fanuc preferred).
• Maintain spot welders and MIG welding equipment.
• Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment (Allen Bradley preferred).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Minimize downtime and support production needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and union guidelines.
