Adirondack Tire & Service is proud to join the Mavis Tire Family. We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in Queensbury, NY.

About the Position of Assistant Manager

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards, scheduling mechanics/technicians work, managing outside orders, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs, meeting customer expectations, and the safety of team members.

About the Position of Service Manager

The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. They also ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely completion of high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of mechanics, alignment technicians and tire technicians, staging vehicle repair/maintenance work, and communicating directly with customers to assess needs and provide information about repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications

To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, applicants must (1) be at least 18 years of age, (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States, and (3) possess either (i) one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
