Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer - Automotive Assembly in Dublin VA (Onsite). The role emphasizes leading process trials, refining production methods, and ensuring safe, efficient operations on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with Materials and Engineering teams to optimize flow, support new product introductions, and drive cost-reduction initiatives using Lean principles.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing engineering for automotive assembly.
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and continuous improvement.
• Ability to lead trials, analyze data, and drive cost reductions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support new process trials and provide engineering support for current production to ensure stable, efficient operations.
• Establish and maintain production methods, standards, tooling, and equipment for products and processes.
• Drive safety, ergonomics, and efficiency improvements through process changes.
• Collaborate with Materials and cross-functional teams to optimize material flow using Lean principles.
• Coordinate implementation of new products and engineering changes with proper work timing and manpower.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Manufacturing Engineers as needed.
• Identify and execute opportunities for cost reduction and manpower optimization through process design.
• Analyze assembly operations and drive continuous improvement through data analysis and problem solving.
• Develop and maintain production standards using MCTM/MOST.
