Job summary

Sonic Automotive, Inc. seeks an Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk for Greenville CDJR in Greenville, TX. The role handles AP/AR processing, reconciliation, and vendor communications within a large dealership network.

Responsibilities include deposits, monthly closings, and end-of-month reporting, with compensation of $18–$22 per hour and full-time schedule. Authorized to work in the USA and pre-employment checks required.

Qualifications

• AP/AR clerk responsibilities: processing, recording, and reconciling AP/AR transactions.
• Prepare daily deposits and cash receipts.
• Work with vendors on collections and issue purchase orders.
• Assist in monthly closings and end-of-month reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage daily deposits and cash receipts.
• Responsible for all accounts receivables and works with vendors on collections.
• Reconcile cash schedule and assist in monthly closings.
• Reconcile select accounts and schedules monthly, prior to month end.
• Post manual journal entries and any other posting as required.
• Issue purchase orders for supplies and invoices and monitor automated purchase order system, voiding and correcting errors.
• Complete end-of-month accounting reports.
• Assist in completion of annual review/audit.
• Send invoices, coding invoices, and processing payments.
• AP/AR experience or automotive dealership experience in a back office role.
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.
