Qualifications

• Previous analytical laboratory experience and/or technical training in analytical chemistry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, Sample Manager, and OPD
• Strong mathematical, statistical, and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze samples according to the sample plan
• Prioritize and analyze special request samples
• Evaluate data against specifications using basic statistics
• Document, communicate, and archive results
• Follow retest/resample procedures
• Communicate information between shifts and manufacturing
• Participate in facility management including materials, housekeeping and waste per RCRA
• Promote teamwork and lead by example
• Utilize electronic tools (Sample Manager, OPD, Outlook, etc.)
• Identify opportunities to improve lab safety, quality, efficiency and reliability
• Provide professional communication to customers, coworkers, and leadership
• Maintain EH&S, ISO, IATF 16949 compliance and site quality management
• Pursue personal learning and complete training programs
