Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis. You will use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure the vehicle travels straight and true.

The role may include state inspections, oil and filter changes, and flat repairs, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
State inspection license preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate and service automotive vehicles with alignment equipment to align tires and wheels.
Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure straight travel.
Perform state-mmandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
Carry out other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
