Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in Joliet, IL is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis at a state-of-the-art automotive service center. The role focuses on aligning tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, and ensuring vehicles travel straight and true.

You will perform state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and basic repairs as needed, while contributing to customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Must possess a state inspection license.

Responsibilities

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair.
• Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
