Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician to join Team Mavis in the Joliet, IL area. The role focuses on aligning newly mounted tires and wheels, measuring caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear and ensure vehicles travel straight and true.

The position involves state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and basic tire maintenance, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of experience and/or training in mounting, dismounting, balancing tires or equivalent education.
• Preferred state inspection license.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Align tires and wheels using the latest equipment to meet caster, camber, toe, and thrust specifications.
• Perform tire mounting, balancing, and rotation as part of vehicle service.
• Assist with oil/filter changes and basic vehicle preventive maintenance as needed.
• Complete required vehicle inspections and any other service tasks as directed by the supervisor.
