Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking a full-time Automotive Alignment Technician in Mundelein, IL. You will use specialized equipment to align tires and wheels, measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles to ensure straight travel and optimal tire wear.

Responsibilities include performing state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, and other shop duties. You must be at least 18 and legally eligible to work in the US; a state inspection license is

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• State inspection license preferred for alignment technicians.

Responsibilities

• Align wheels using the latest equipment and adjust caster, camber, toe and thrust angles.
• Complete state inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs as needed.
• Perform other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.
• Stand, walk, and lift items weighing over 50 pounds as part of daily duties.
