Job summary

V2X Inc in Edwards AFB area is seeking an Automotive Aftermarket Instructor to deliver training virtually and in person, mentoring entry level and advanced technicians. This role involves teaching high-tech automotive systems and performing live diagnostic demonstrations to transfer knowledge effectively.

You will develop training content, schedule sessions, demonstrate vehicle diagnostics, and provide phone support to technicians, with 25%–50% overnight travel across assigned markets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current ASE Certified Master A1 - A8 Automobile Technician (must be obtained within first year of employment).
• ASE A9, L1, L3, L4 and Section 609 certifications (must be obtained within first year of employment).

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training virtually and in-person via seminars, coaching, and hands-on sessions (1–8 hours).
• Schedule training within the assigned market area via various communications.
• Demonstrate on-vehicle diagnosis/repair procedures and evaluate technicians' diagnostic skills.
• Support training content design for media: video, web, seminar, hands-on, and certification.
• Provide diagnostic assistance to technicians by phone as needed; travel 25%–50% overnight.
