Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking skilled Automotive ADAS Technicians in Lexington, SC to join our growing team. You will interact with customers, perform testing and repair of vehicles, generate invoices, and manage parts inventory while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include diagnostic testing, ADAS calibrations, wiring repairs, and collaboration with shop staff to schedule and complete jobs. A high school diploma and 4–10 years of technician experience are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OE scan tools.
• Ability to learn new tools as needed.
• Knowledge of wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems.
• Possesses diagnostic skills in the automotive trade.
• Basic computer knowledge including email, spreadsheets and messaging.
• Willingness to update job knowledge via educational opportunities and publications.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• 4–10 years related service technician experience.

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock and communicates with support staff for orders.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to the office.
• Keeps shop equipment operating and follows maintenance procedures.
• Collaborates with teammates to schedule/complete jobs.
