Job summary

Voss Auto Network is seeking a dependable Accounts Payable Clerk to join the Network Office team in Centerville, OH. You will ensure invoices are processed accurately, payments are made timely, and vendor records stay organized.

The ideal candidate enjoys numbers, has strong organizational skills, and prides themselves on accuracy in a fast-paced office environment. Automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
• Ability to reconcile daily cash, checks, and deposits for multiple locations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while also being a team player

Responsibilities

• Daily you will prepare accounts payable checks, post all open items in accounts payable, print all accounts payable reports and maintain the accounts payable files.
• You will check all vouchers and obtain appropriate payment approval.
• Twice per month you will post, stamp and file invoices
• You will reconcile statements and the ledger making sure payments are consistent with dealership schedules.
• Will be in the rotation to cover for the receptionist.
• Will assist with monthly closings, prepare analysis and assist with special projects as needed.
• Will audit freight bills, analyze vendor accounts and communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the manager when needed.
