Ed Morse Automotive Group seeks an Accounting Specialist to support monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting. You will collaborate across departments to deliver accurate financial statements and analyses, using GAAP guidelines and standard processes.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong Excel skills, and experience with Dealertrack within a multi-state automotive group environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; three years of equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years' experience with bachelor's degree.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; experience with accounting systems.
• Experience with Dealertrack is required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist senior accounting personnel in preparing monthly financial statements on an accrual basis according to GAAP.
• Prepare monthly standard journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Review designated areas and post month-end journal entries.
• Prepare reconciliations with supporting documentation; research differences.
• Assist in analytical projects, back-end reporting, and various financial data reports.
• Coordinate with departments regarding monthly reports and explain accounting policies.
• Maintain records for regulatory reporting including annual audits and tax returns.
