Job summary

EchoPark Automotive is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our Thornton, CO dealership. The role owns accounts payable, analyzes operating expenses, and supports monthly close and financial reporting with a focus on accuracy and internal controls.

You will review invoices, coordinate with vendors, and assist with audits while working closely with store operations and our Shared Services Center. Automotive experience is a plus, and a collaborative, detail-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• General accounting knowledge is required.
• Strong MS Excel skills are expected.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented with a disciplined approach to work.
• Automotive industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for vendors regarding invoicing and payment.
• Review and process invoices for payment.
• Liaise between store operations and the Shared Services Center.
• Complete SOX controls as necessary.
• Monthly invoice reviews.
• Aging exception analysis.
• Support quarterly and annual audit efforts with research and documentation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank activity analysis.
• Provide analyses of expense variances.
• Produce month-end work papers for reporting.
