Job summary

Toyota of Downtown Chicago, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is hiring an Automotive Accounting Clerk to efficiently manage daily accounting tasks in a busy dealership.

You will handle manufacturer billing, vendor payments, deposits, and routine reconciliations while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. A background in dealership accounting and attention to detail are essential; training and growth opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Process and post manufacturer billing daily.
• Balance accounts payable monthly statements.
• Post payments to vendors monthly.
• File vendor statements and invoices with checks.
• Maintain vendor W-9s.
• Prepare and file daily deposits.
• Back up accounts receivable as needed.

We are looking for an Automotive Accounting Clerk who is responsible for completing Various Accounting transactions in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Stock in Vehicles
• Pull all of the Manufacturer billing and post (daily)
• Balance Manufacturers Payables Monthly Statements
• Post payments for vendor (monthly)
• File vendors statements and invoices with copy of check (monthly)
• Maintain W9's
• Clean assigned schedules
• Order office supplies
• File daily deposits
• Back up accounts receivable

Requirements

• Some dealership experience required
• Knowledge of automotive DMS
