You will optimize equipment performance, ensure high-quality welds, and work with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and union teams.

The role demands interpreting drawings and weld specs, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and robotic issues to maximize safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in robotics, welding, or related field.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing and union environments preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and weld specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate, program, troubleshoot, and maintain robotic welding systems.
• Interpret drawings, weld specs, and work instructions to ensure quality.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on welding equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and robotic issues.
• Fine-tune robot movements and weld parameters to boost output.
• Ensure weld quality meets automotive specs and safety standards.
• Document service records and maintenance logs accurately.
• Train new teammates on safe operation of welding and robotics.
