Job summary

Paumac-Tubing-LLC in Statesville, NC, is seeking a Robotic Weld Associate to operate, maintain and troubleshoot welding robots across production phases. You will collaborate with Engineering and Quality, inspect welds, and perform preventive maintenance while keeping a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience operating robotic welding equipment and performing preventive maintenance per schedule.
• Ability to inspect welds and ensure quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welders at or above established quality and efficiency standards.
• Produce weld quality that meets standards within production schedules.
• Maintain equipment in a safe, clean condition by completing preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Quality Department personnel for testing and evaluating welding equipment, metals, fixtures, methods and processes.
• Inspect welding products to ensure accuracy and detect flaws.
• Train other personnel on operating robotic system programs.
• Accurately complete required paperwork in a timely manner.
• Communicate with other departments as necessary.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to all company rules and policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

The robotic weld associate position is responsible for operating, maintaining and trouble-shooting welding robots for all phases of production. The position communicates with co-workers, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.
