Job Description

Xenith Solutions is seeking a Test Engineer with experience in agile methodology to support a federal contract in Northern VA (Ashburn, VA or Springfield, VA). The role involves supporting our Agile Solution Factory, working with a diverse and remote team, and developing automation testing strategies for web applications.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for various testing types.
2. Establish quality assurance methodologies and ensure compliance.
3. Support user acceptance testing and collaborate within an Agile environment.
4. Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for web front-end and back-end systems.
5. Work with developers and product managers to define automation strategies.
6. Perform hardware and software evaluation and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. U.S. Citizen with ability to pass background checks.
2. College degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3. Experience with web application testing, automation, and scripting languages.
4. Seven or more years of IT experience, including at least 2-3 years in .NET technologies.
5. Proficiency with testing tools like Selenium, Jenkins, and version control systems.
6. Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications like CSTE, CST, or CTFL.
• Experience with web services, messaging platforms, and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and continuous integration environments.
