Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Quality Assurance Planning: Collaborate with the Technical Lead or Product Development Manager (PDM) to develop test strategies and plans that support project objectives and timelines. Focus on implementing and optimizing testing methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Test Design and Execution Oversight: Lead the design and oversight of test execution, ensuring thorough coverage and adherence to quality standards.
3. Automation and Process Optimization: Enhance automation frameworks and identify opportunities for process improvements.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a primary QA contact, promoting effective communication with development and product teams.
5. Quality Advocacy and Project Management: Support project planning, mentor junior team members, and advocate for quality standards.
6. Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing: Participate in process improvement initiatives and share insights with the QA team.
7. Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Keep abreast of new testing technologies and methodologies, sharing findings with the team.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning and documentation.
2. Experience in API automation testing, Python scripting, and frameworks like Pytest/Behave/Robot Framework.
3. At least 4 years of experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, TestComplete, QTP/UFT.
4. Proven leadership in Agile and Scrum environments.
5. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
6. Proficiency with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
7. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects.
8. Experience with Linux, Jenkins, VMWare, Bash scripting, REST API.
9. Previous debugging experience and good networking knowledge.
